The integration is a URL
No SDK, no plugin, no proprietary viewer. Your configurator asks for a configuration and gets back a finished, studio-quality image. It works in any website, store, CMS or app your team already runs.
Build a URL, get an image
This is a real E-Z-GO product served from our platform. The controls are just a quick, lightweight demo UI. Because Variant is headless, your front-end interface can look and work however you want.
https://marketing.variantbuilder.com/e-z-go/liberty/my2027v01-oBf7vYgcBS9/render?package=custom&color=infernoRed&wheels=paraMtSpiderBlack14&seats=luxuryMidnightBlack&background=%23ffffff&width=1280
Every selection is checked against the product. The first request for a configuration is assembled in moments, and every request after that is served from a global cache.
Every image, exactly how you need it
The same URL takes the image settings too, so one product covers your configurator, product pages, emails and ads without an image pipeline of your own.
Size
Any size up to 4K. Ask for one dimension and the other keeps its proportions.
width=1920Crop
Trim any edge by a percentage, for thumbnails, banners and tight product shots.
cropTop=10&cropBottom=5Format and quality
AVIF by default, or WebP, PNG and JPG, at the compression you choose.
format=webp&quality=80Background
Transparent by default. Or a color, a gradient, the scene, or one of your brand backgrounds.
background=%23f4f4f5Highlight
Dim everything except the parts a buyer is choosing, so the change is easy to see.
highlightProperties=wheelsPresets
Apply a saved set of selections by name, and override any of them in the same URL.
presets=offRoad...
Build your configurator with your AI assistant
Headless used to mean you needed a development team. Now one developer, or a technical marketer, can connect their AI assistant to our MCP server and build a working configurator from your real product data.
- Your assistant reads your actual properties, options and rules, so it writes working code, not guesses.
- Every URL it builds is checked against your product before it reaches your code.
- It signs in as you, it can only read, and it sees only what you can see.

Or start from working code
Every product comes with a sample configurator generated for it, in React, TypeScript and Tailwind, with your product's real properties and rules already wired in. Download it, restyle it, and make it yours.
A URL is a promise, so we keep it
Once an image URL is out in the world, we can't see everywhere it ends up. So we treat every published URL as a contract.
Published URLs keep working
Once a product version is published, its URLs and option names don’t change. Pages, emails and spreadsheets that use them keep working.
New model years never break old pages
A new model year arrives as a new version with its own URLs. Your current pages stay as they are until you switch.
A bad option never breaks the image
An option that doesn’t exist falls back to the default, so a typo shows a real product, never a broken image on your site.
Fast at any traffic
Images are assembled at the edge and cached worldwide, so launch-day traffic doesn’t slow anything down.
Private until you publish
Unreleased products are only visible to signed-in people with access. Publishing makes the URLs work for everyone.
Every image works the same way
Showroom renders, AI images and your own uploads each get a stable URL in the image bank, with the same size, crop, format and background settings.
